Tuition: $355.00(Member Discount Available)
For Children ages 8 – 14 Learn to play rock staples by such legendary bands as The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and Led Zeppelin! This music-based camp introduces beginners with little or no previous training to the fundamentals of rock performance, including guitar power chords, bass riffs, backbeat-driven rhythms, and emotive vocals. In addition to daily drum circle warm ups, band rehearsals, and general music instruction, we will listen to music and watch concert films as well as participate in several fun arts activities, including designing a band logo and name, posing for a band photo, and tie-dying band t-shirts! Participating students will be encouraged (but not required) to play guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards, as well as sing. The camp-culminating concert is open to family and friends. Be sure to bring a lunch, drink and snack. register here
