See the work made by the students of Marina Monboisse. Their ceramics class, Surface Desgin, meets in the morning on Thursday’s each semester.
Her class is for those seeking to create dynamic and unique ceramic work. Together they explore all things surface design; from carving to sgraffito, mishima, underglaze painting, glaze and more. Beginners are inspired to think about surface in new ways, while those with more experience explore elevated composition and development of personal style. Open to hand builders and wheel throwers alike. It is a creative environment where ideas and requests are encouraged.
Students are encouraged to sign up for soda firing for the semester, as there will be an emphasis on learning about and creating work for the soda kiln!
