Artist Statement:
After graduating from Denison University, I joined the Potters Guild and spent most of my life making pots. When we downsized 11 years ago, I donated my 24 cu. ft. gas kiln to Historic Yellow Springs and started a 2nd career in painting. I exhibit my work in many local art exhibitions and have won prizes from the CAC and the Chester County Art Association. I am a Signature Member of the Philadelphia Watercolor Society and a member of the Howard Pyle Studio Group. I was on the CAC’s board for 12 years where I served as President. I also chaired the CAC’s Capital Campaign Committee to build the Duke Gallery. My studio is in Kennett Township where I live with my husband and two Maine Coon cats.
