Nancy is a longtime member of the Arts Center and of the Art Center’s Advanced Abstract Studio which meets on Monday’s in our Fall, Winter and Spring Semesters.
Artist Statement:
I describe myself as a non-objective abstract painter who paints “what my mind sees” partly as a result of my training in applied Arts and Graphic Decsign. My work reflects a desire for color design and repetition of patterns to convey to the viewer a certain level of organization, accomplished with line, color and space.
I have exhibited locally at the Community Arts Center, Widener Unversity, and verious galleries throughout the Philadelphia area, including 12 years with the 3rd Street Gallery in Phildelphia. For the past 20 years I have monitored the Abstract Studio at the Community Arts Center.
