Artists Statement:
Inspiration is everywhere! I have enjoyed doing printmaking for 11 years, learning new techniques all the time.
Printmaking is creative and fun, anything goes. The monoprint/monotype design method creates a surface like no other. The transfer methods used are: printing press, rolling pin, by hand, even a spoon. Working on an acrylic plate, a carving block, treated paper or a clay slab will create an original, decorative piece. Printing can be done on special paper, fabric, black sandpaper, reemay, pellon, to name a few.
Printmaking is fun with many interesting techniques!
