A Unique Art Outreach Program
ART to go brings programs into the community for all in all areas of the visual arts. The Community Arts Center’s unique outreach program provides extraordinary arts programs for groups and organizations throughout the Delaware Valley. ART to go is designed to complement an existing curriculum or provide arts experiences for groups that do not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the arts. Programs include drawing and painting, ceramics, jewelry, photography, sculpture, muraling, mosaics and much more. Each program is tailored to meet the needs of the individual organization.
Some of the programs we are currently providing:
- Arts Integration Residencies at the Chester Charter School for the Arts
- Afterschool and summer arts programming at Chester Eastside Ministries
- Afterschool community-based arts engagement projects with the South Media Community Initiative
- Afterschool arts programming at The Boys and Girls Club of Chester
- Seasonal Saturday arts programming for Youth Development United
- Ceramics classes for older adults, veterans and the disabled at the Delaware County Housing Authority
- Ceramics for older adults at Plush Mills Senior Living Community
