Pauline Houston McCall is on an energetic journey of making and teaching art and music in multiple communities. Her large painting and sculpture installations and intimate drawings have graced many exhibitions in the tri-state area, with a deep focus in the falling and rising of the human spirit, told through figurative imagery and stories. McCall is the founder and director of the nationally acclaimed women’s artist collective WOMEN HOLLER, a collective which aims to unite and invigorate women artist, transcending issues of race and age. In addition to her art making and creations, McCall is an energetic educator who has led many Community Collaborative projects and Artist Residencies in the tri-state area including the Community Arts Center in Wallingford for the past 15 years. She is a lifelong resident of Philadelphia, receiving her BFA in Printmaking from Moore College of Art and Design.
